[edit] Info system for mountain centers

My small company develop elektronic information system for Czech mountain centers. 

I use TS7250 for controling  displays with magnetic dots and measuring temperature and display information about situation in winter centres. All is controlled via internet.

  • I use TS7250/32MB/32MB/RTC/RS485 i have connected GSM modem through first serial port and secont port control magnetic dot devices via RS485
  • I use self compiled kernel from TS-source. I replace TS debian system with selfmade buildroot with uClibc
  • in previous version of my product I use DIMM PC i386 based.
  • with porting from i386 to ARM I spend aprox 30min.
  • cost of ARM is 1/3 of cost DIMM PC
  • now TS run 2 years without problem
